This is my first summer prompt, an architectural structure.
I made an acrylic background and then used drawing pencils to draw an alley way from observation. Not my favorite piece but drawing is not my forte. Sorry about the picture quality, I'm uploading from the beach :)
Great job, Rebecca! You've proven to be responsible on your own and making the first summer deadline. This could be considered drawing as well as design due to the extensive pattern and unique technique. I see that you've stuck to your analogous color scheme and took some risks with using graphite on acrylic. You've demonstrated both experimentation with the medium and basic linear perspective. (Good job keeping the vertical lines vertical-- there is usually a tendency to tilt them.)
